Summer Holiday Timetable

Ashtanga-yoga-teacher-Tracy-Cooper
We are open every day of the year including Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, and our new timetable is especially extensive, which we hope gives you the space and flexibility to easily maintain or resume your yoga practice or try it for the first time – everyone is welcome.

Our Most Extensive Timetable Yet

Our new timetable is the most extensive in terms of options that we have ever offered! We hope this will help you maintain or resume practice over the holidays, even if you still have work commitments.

FREE Beginners’ Classes

Free beginners classes start the New Year on Jan 2 , 3 & 4. Our beginners’ classes are a great way to help you build stamina, flexibility and strength and are suitable for those interested in trying Ashtanga Yoga, or wanting to refine their existing practice.

This is also a great opportunity to get some good habits underway for 2018 especially if you are looking to join us for an Intro course starting on Jan 8 (please see below).

New Teachers Starting

We’ve quite a collection of local and international talent joining our long established teachers and no doubt you will reciprocate the goodwill and gratitude which at times distinguishes our studio community from others.

We are delighted to welcome four great new teachers who will join us over the holidays to help support our new timetable: Teachers Imogen Parry,  Jessica Comparolo, Harriet Brescianini and Christy Champoise.  As with any change, these teachers bring with them new energy and a fresh perspective and we are really excited to have them onboard and hope you will enjoy their classes.

Evening Mysore Classes Return

Centre Founders Greg and Tracy started Melbourne’s first afternoon/ evening Mysore-Style classes 15 years ago, so it was devastating to have to drop them from the schedule earlier this year due to unforeseen financial pressures.

But now evening classes are back! Night-time Mysore classes begin again on Boxing Day – perfect for those who can’t make it in the mornings.

Intro Classes Start 8 Jan

Our Intro classes are taught in month-long stages to help you build stamina, flexibility and strength, and are suitable for those interested in trying Ashtanga Yoga or wanting to refine their existing practice.
Learning Ashtanga Yoga is a great way to become stronger, more flexible and more connected with your body and your mind.
Whether you are a complete yoga novice or would like to relearn; we can help you develop a solid, strong, safe Ashtanga Yoga practice to last you a lifetime.
